An Bord Pleanala yesterday refused permission for a proposed luxury housing development adjacent to the Strawberry Beds area of the Liffey Valley in west Dublin.
The board was ruling on an appeal by a developer, Mr Phil Monahan, against a decision by Fingal County Council last year to refuse planning permission for the erection of 50 detached houses.
