A conference of the European Lupus Federation opens this evening in Trinity College Dublin, hosted by the Irish Lupus Support Group.

Delegates from 16 European countries will attend lectures by Irish and European doctors and geneticists. Lupus is an incurable, non-contagious condition affecting the immune system, which is controlled by medication, often steroids.
