Lucan diversion lifted after pub fire

The Newcastle to Lucan road has re-opened following a fire at the Polly Hops pub, Co Dublin, earlier this morning.

The Newcastle to Lucan road has re-opened following a fire at the Polly Hops pub, Co Dublin, earlier this morning.

Five units of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the fire after being alerted to the incident shortly after 4am.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Gardaí had originally stopped traffic from taking the through road from Newcastle to Lucan however all diversions in the area have now been lifted.
