THE former Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, Mr Michael Lowry TD, has published a public notice of his intention to apply for planning permission for the retention of an extension at his home in Holycross, Co Tipperary.

Mr Lowry resigned his ministry after it had been disclosed that Mr Ben Dunne had paid for the extension to his home, and North Tipperary County Council confirmed at that time that no planning permission had been issued for the extension.

In this week's Tipperary Star, Mr Lowry has published a notice of his intention to apply to the council for planning permission to retain extensions, reconstruction and entrance development at his residence in Glenreigh Beg, Holycross, Co Tipperary.
