An £18 million capital investment to upgrade runway and passenger terminal facilities at Cork Airport, was announced yesterday by the Minister for Transport.
Speaking in Cork, Mr Lowry said the investment, which was in addition to the £18 million made available by the Government, would help consolidate the airport's growth. This year, passenger numbers would pass one million, he added.
