The Lotto jackpot will be more than €14 million tonight — the second highest since the game began in 1988.
The jackpot, which was last won at the end of January, has rolled for the past 11 draws.
Record ticket sales are expected today, with an average of up to 2,000 tickets to be bought per minute between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
The last time the jackpot topped €13 million was on on Saturday, December 22, when sales drove it over €13.2 million mark.
