Londis is to invest €6 million in a new 20,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at Johnstown, Co Kildare.
The headquarters will be built alongside the company's existing 80,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility, which will also be expanded.
The company's 100 head office staff who are based in Crumlin, Dublin, will move to the new headquarters by the end of October.
The retail chain has grown rapidly in the last few years and employs over 7,000 people.
Joint chief executive Stephen O'Riordan said: "The €6 million investment demonstrates the board's confidence in the future growth of the group and will provide the infrastructure required to deliver on our future expansion plans."
