Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
A man in his 20s was injured during the incident, which occurred at about 12.40am in St Mary's Park in the city.
He was taken to the Midwestern Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle to be treated for minor injuries but has since been discharged.
A Garda spokesman said the site of the incident was being examined by a technical team.
