A Limerick man was said to be out of danger in Limerick Regional Hospital last night after being shot twice by four men wearing balaclavas who rushed into his house just before 2 p.m. Mr Stephen Carroll (28) of Talbot Avenue, Prospect, was shot in the back and the front. Gardai said they were following a definite line of inquiry.
