BEIRUT - The voters of "Mount Lebanon" yesterday went to the polls to choose 35 deputies in the first, key stage of four-yearly general elections of Lebanon's 128-member parliament. The other four constituencies, Beirut, North Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley and the South, will have their turn over the next four Sundays.
