The names of the recipients of the seven annual Easter Week Commemoration scholarships, for the students who performed best in particular groups of subjects in the 1997 higher level Leaving Certificate exam, have been announced.
They are Mary Paula Curran of Ard Scoil na nDeise, Dungarvan, Co Waterford; Dualta Roughneen, St Louis Community School, Kiltimagh, Co Mayo; Siona Cait Ni Raghallaigh, Gaelcholaiste Cheatharlach, Carlow; Belinda McHale, Scoil na Maighdine Muire, Ballina, Co Mayo; Cormac O'Leary, Ard Scoil Ui Urmoltaigh, Bandon, Co Cork; Deirdre Ni Mhuirthile, Colaiste an Phiarsaigh, Glanmire, Co Cork; and Darragh O'Neill, Mount Temple Comprehensive School, Dublin.
