LONDON - The trial begins today of three young men charged with the murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence after his parents brought a rare private prosecution.
Mr Neil Acourt (20), Mr Luke Knight (18) and Mr Gary Dobson (20), all of Eltham, south-east London, will stand trial at the Old Bailey jointly accused of killing the 18-year-old student in 1993.
