An exhibition of work by the artist, Sir John Lavery, featuring many portraits of his wife, Hazel, opened yesterday in the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, Dublin.

The exhibition was organised to coincide with the publication of the first biography of Lady Lavery, which is written by Sinead McCoole and published by the Lilliput Press, entitled Hazel, A life of Lady Lavery, 1880-1935.

The paintings will remain on view to the public until Sunday, November 3rd.
