American rider Floyd Landis announced today he will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against a ruling of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) to ban him for two years for a doping offence.

Landis tested positive for testosterone on the 2006 Tour de France, which he won before being stripped of his title by the International Cycling Union (UCI) last month.
