Knock International Airport's chairman, Mr Cathal Duffy, has warned staff that contact with the media is "gross misconduct" and a "dismissable offence".

Last month staff at the Co Mayo airport called on the board to account for itself and accused the company of being "authoritarian". In a five-page letter reported in the media, 30 staff raised questions about ownership of the airport, health and safety and pay-related issues.
