Edinburgh - A designer is encouraging youngsters to wear Scotland's national dress by producing kilts with special pockets to hold their mobile phones.

After discovering the average sporran is not big enough to hold a phone, Mr Howie Nicholsby, from Edinburgh, designed a new range of kilts with modern accessories which he hopes will appeal to fashionable teenagers.
