One of two doctors who has opened a new medical practice with reduced prices in Killarney, Co Kerry, says he has no interest in a price war.
Dr Michael Moloney is offering a “basic consultation” for €40, well below the €50 to €65 charged by most GP practices in the area.
Dr Maloney, who has opened the new practice with Dr Michael O’Doherty, said they had a great working relationship with all GPs in the town but had reduced prices to what they deemed to be appropriate.
