US:Oscar-winning Australian actor Nicole Kidman is pregnant and has pulled out of her next film, The Reader, with her baby expected in mid-2008.
"Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby," publicist Wendy Day said in a statement yesterday.
Kidman (40) was pregnant once before with then-husband Tom Cruise, but she had a miscarriage. They adopted two children. She married country music singer Urban in 2006.
Kidman was due to start filming the post-second World War drama The Reader in early 2008. - (Reuters)
