Engineering and construction group Kentz said it has won a contract to design and build a construction camp for a gas conditioning plant in Papua New Guinea.

The Papua New Guinea (PNG) LNG Project is an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities, onshore and offshore pipelines and liquefaction facilities. It has a capacity of 6.6 million tonnes per year.

The project's partners include affiliates of ExxonMobil, Oil Search Limited, Independent Public Business Corporation, and Santos Limited. Nippon Oil Exploration, Mineral Resources Development Company and Petromin PNG Holdings Limited all have a minority interest in the project.
