A jury in the trial of a man and his wife charged with having £160,000 of cocaine for supply has been discharged by Judge Kieran O'Connor at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge O'Connor discharged the jury because of a legal technicality after a joint submission by prosecuting and defence counsel.
Mr Anthony Kelly (56) and Ms Julie Kelly (36), of Kingswood Drive, Tallaght, pleaded not guilty to the possession of cocaine for sale and supply at their address on September 2nd, 1998. It was the second day of the hearing.
