The trial of a man accused of sexually abusing two young girls more than three years ago ended yesterday at Belfast Crown Court on its fifth day when Judge John McKee discharged the all-male jury. Mr Denis McKinney (53), of University Avenue, had denied indecently assaulting the girls, then aged 12 and 13, at his north Belfast home on October 7th, 1993. He had also denied attempted unlawful carnal knowledge of the older girl. He was released on bail.
