The jury in the trial of a Cork man accused of murdering his baby daughter will return on Monday afternoon following legal submissions made in its absence yesterday in the Central Criminal Court. Mr Fergus Whitty (31) has pleaded not guilty to murdering his six-month-old baby daughter, Vanessa Kelly, at his ground floor apartment in Mount Vernon Crescent, South Douglas Road, Cork, on September 15th, 1996.
