The High Court has reserved judgment on the challenge to a 2003 will made by the late art collector Gordon Lambert. The hearing concluded yesterday after 13 days and Mr Justice Roderick Murphy said he was reserving his decision.

The action was brought by Mr Lambert’s niece, June Lambert, Pembroke Lane, Dublin, and her cousin, Mark Lambert, Rathdown Park, Greystones, Co Wicklow.

They are seeking orders striking down a 2003 will and a condition disqualifying any beneficiary who challenges it.

The action is against Anthony Lyons, Churchtown, Dublin; Olive Beaumont, Ballsbridge, Dublin; and Catherine Marshall, Kevin Street, Dublin.
