Judgment has been reserved in an appeal in the Supreme Court by two Fiat companies against an order striking out their defence to a claim brought on behalf of two children severely burned eight years also when their father's Fiat Mirafiori burst into flames in the driveway of their home.
In the High Court in March 1995, the defence of the two Fiat companies was struck out because they failed to obey orders to reveal records of previous fires in Mirafiori cars.
