A woman who made false allegations that she had been raped has had her sentence put back until November 27th by Judge Elizabeth Dunne at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Philomena Hennessy (19), of Drumcastle Green, Coolock, pleaded guilty to making the false allegation that she was raped on January 30th, 1999.

Judge Dunne put back sentence to allow Hennessy to continue to receive counselling and to await a probation report.
