MANILA - Crusading journalist and human rights lawyer, Ferdinand Reyes, was shot dead by a gunman in his office in the southern Philippines, local newspapers said yesterday. Mr Reyes (34), editor of the weekly Press Freedom, was killed on Monday in Dipolog City, 725 km south of Manila.
