The jury in the trial of a Sunday Mirrorjournalist accused of  illegal obtaining drugs from Dublin pharmacies has been sworn in.

Naomi McElroy (27), from Grove Park Drive, Glasnevin, Dublin, faces ten charges of using false prescriptions at various pharmacies in or around the O'Connell Street area on July 29th, 2004.

Ms McElroy denies the charges.

Judge Michael White swore in a jury at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court this morning. The trial is scheduled to begin tomorrow.
