The son of loyalist commander Johnny "Mad Dog" Adair was sentenced to five years in a young offenders' institution today for drug dealing.
Jonathan Adair (19), sold heroin and crack cocaine to undercover police on the streets of Bolton, Greater Manchester, last year.
His home in Bolton was raided and police found a crossbow, body armour, a drug dealer's debtor list and more than £1,000 in cash.
Adair pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at Bolton Crown Court last month.
Co-defendants Benjamin Dowie (22) and William Truesdale (40) pleaded guilty to the same charge. They were sentenced to five and four years in prison, respectively.
The court heard that all three defendants fled to Bolton from Belfast last year to escape in-fighting among loyalists. They settled in the Horwich area and began dealing drugs.
Adair sold heroin and crack cocaine to undercover officers four times in October and November last year.
Johnny Adair's wife, Gina, was initially charged with drug offences with her son, but those charges were dropped.
