A hand-written and illustrated tale of wizardry by Harry Potter author JK Rowling fetched £1.95 million at auction today.
The Tales of Beedle the Bardhad been expected to go for up to £50,000 at the sale by Sotheby's in London but went for nearly 40 times as much.
The buyer was from London dealer Hazlitt, Gooden and Fox.
