PENSACOLA - US Federal safety investigators yesterday examined the twisted remainder of an engine that blew apart, propelling shrapnel into a Delta Air Lines jet and killing a mother and her 12 year old son. The accident occurred at Pensacola Regional Airport in Florida as the aircraft was set to take off for Atlanta.
