Stockholm - An American Airlines jet carrying 198 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing at Stockholm's Arlanda airport yesterday due to engine problems after take-off.

The Boeing 767 took off for Chicago at 9.53 a.m. but the pilot realised there was a problem with one of the aircraft's two engines. The jet made a safe landing at 10.07 a.m. with just one engine. No one was hurt.
