PARIS - The jailed Venezuelan guerrilla "Carlos the Jackal" fought in court to have a book about him banned on the grounds that it violated his right to be presumed innocent. The judge heard criticisms of the book by a French journalist, Bernard Violet, and gave time for the publisher to prepare a reaction.
