At least 73 people have beenkilled in three days of violence in Ivory Coast's main cityAbidjan, morgue officials said today.
Morgue workers at two of Abidjan's main university hospitals- in the neighbourhoods of Yopougon and Cocody - told reportersthat 67 bodies, with gunshot wounds, had been taken therebetween Thursday and Saturday.
Six more bodies, including those of two policemen, weretaken to the Ivosep mortuary, officials said. Yesterday policegave an official death toll of 37 people.
