Rome - Ten Italian tourists, including two children aged nine and 10, have been abducted in two incidents in Yemen, the Italian Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

An official said six people were kidnapped in the south of the country on Wednesday afternoon while on their way to Al Mukallaa on the Gulf of Aden coast. A further four Italians were abducted near Khamir, some 100 km north of the capital, Sanaa, yesterday morning.
