A number of Italian tourists were shaken yesterday when their tour bus passed a police Land Rover patrolling in Derry as it was attacked with petrol bombs.

The bus was making its way past Butcher Gate toward the tourist's hotel at the time of the incident.

Three people were arrested following the incident. Six more people were arrested in Derry earlier yesterday for public order offences.

The main parade of about 10,000 Apprentice Boys and 130 bands passed off without major incident.
