JERUSALEM - A Palestinian Authority official yesterday accused Israel of sending chewing gum spiked with aphrodisiacs and sterility-inducing drugs into the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Mr Saleh Abdul-Aal, Director of Inspection and Monitoring for the Palestinian Authority, said: "We sent it to the laboratory for checking. The results said this gum includes sexually stimulating hormones and it may generate sterility in women and men."
