SIDON - Israeli warplanes yesterday raided suspected positions of the Iran backed Hizbullah in the Iqlim al Tuffah region of south Lebanon, security sources said.
Several jets fired at least six rockets near the villages of Mlita and Sujud. Earlier, an Israeli soldier and a Lebanese guerrilla were killed as fighting escalated across south Lebanon and rockets were fired into northern Israel.
