Jerusalem - Israel has offered the Palestinians two key compromises in secretive negotiations to try to wrap up a deal on a US-brokered land-for-security peace plan, Israeli media reported yesterday.
Palestinians, urged by Washington to sit with Israel in their first direct peace talks in months, said they had heard only "incomplete ideas" from Israeli negotiators in a second round of closed-door talks on Monday night.
