Israeli troops have killed two Palestinians close to the border fence near Gaza's southern town of Khan Younis this morning, the Hamas Islamist group said.
Hamas, which seized control of the Gaza Strip from the Fatah forces of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in June, identified the two as members of one of the group's forces.
The Israeli army said troops on the Israeli side of the border spotted two armed men close to the fence and fired at them.
