JERUSALEM - Israel Eldad, a pre state underground leader and for 50 years one of the most influential figures of the Israeli right wing, died yesterday, aged 86. Ukrainian born Eldad immigrated to British run Palestine in 1941 and led Lehi, the most militant of the Jewish underground groups fighting for independence.
