One of the oldest women in Ireland is the toast of a Co Monaghan town today as she shares her birthday with the Queen Mother - but is three years older. Mrs Margaret Gannon (103), a widow, received a message of congratulations from the President, Mrs McAleese, yesterday as well as a silver medallion marking the fact that she has lived in three centuries.
