IRELAND is one of 63 countries whose troops are being trained by the British Army. The British Foreign Office Minister Of State, Baroness Chalker, told the House Of Lords yesterday that under the UK Military Assistance Training Scheme, the British Army is also training military personnel from Argentina, its adversary in the 1982 Flaklands conflict, and Albania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Russia.
