Irish theatre wins awards

Three Irish theatre companies have collectively won the Adelaide Festival's Fringe First Award this week. The shows which won were Bedrock's production of Bernard-Marie Koltes's Night Just Before the Forest (which last month garnered an Irish Times/ ESB Award for lighting design for Paul Keogan and two other nominations), Pan Pan's Stand-offish and Ridiculusmus's The Exhibitionists.
