A 24-year-old Irish man has died while on holidays in the Spanish island of Majorca.
The death of the Athlone man took place within the past day at Santa Ponsa.
It is understood that he died in a suspected balcony fall. He had only flown out to the island resort over the weekend.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the man’s family.
