An Irish registered fishing boat was detained for alleged illegal fishing by the Naval Service vessel the LE Aisling 45 miles south west of Bantry Bay yesterday morning. The vessel is being escorted into Castletownbere, Co Cork, and is expected to arrive this afternoon.
