Appeal for teenage girl (16) missing in Cork

Gardaí in Cork have issued an appeal to find a teenage girl who went missing over a week ago.

Sinead Sawyer (16) , who also uses the surname Anderson, was last seen on Monday October 7th. Gardaí said she is known to frequent the Midleton area.

She has been described by gardaí as 1.8 metres (6ft) tall, with black hair and hazel coloured eyes. The teenager was wearing a red and pink sweatshirt and black leggings when she was last seen.

Gardaí have urged anyone with information on the girl’s whereabouts to contact Gurranabraher Garda station on 021-4946200, the Garda confidential line on 1800-666111 or any Garda station.
