The State is not proceeding with IRA membership charges against two men who are serving lengthy jail sentences for having improvised detonating cord, the Special Criminal Court heard yesterday.
Mr Patrick McCarthy SC, for the State, said he was entering a nolle prosequi on two remaining IRA membership charges against Denis Lahiff and Simon Kieran Maxwell.
