SINGAPORE - Foreign correspondents said yesterday they had withdrawn a speaking invitation to an Indonesian opposition politician, Ms Megawati Sukarnoputri, at the request of the government. Ms Megawati, who was ousted as leader of the minority Indonesian Democratic Party, is daughter of the founding Indonesian president Sukarno. - (Reuter)
