London - Almost 2,000 images of child pornography were removed from the Internet in the past year after complaints to the British industry watchdog, according to figures published yesterday.
In its first annual report, the industry-funded Internet Watch Foundation said up to 95 per cent of the items removed contained images of children engaged in sexual activity.
