A Turkish contractor and two Iraqis were killed in an ambush in the northern city of Tikrit this morning, a spokesman for the US 1st Infantry Division said today.
The spokesman said the men worked for a construction company repairing bridges in Tikrit.
Dozens of foreign contractors have been killed in Iraq by insurgents since the end of the war last year.
